Victoria Falls River Lodge Overview
As the name suggests, Victoria Falls River Lodge is located close to the homonymous natural world wonder. Guests can enjoy a walking tour of the “Smoke that Thunders” – as the locals call it – or an exhilarating helicopter flight over this mighty spectacle. However, the five-star lodge offers so much more than just being a stone’s throw away from one of Africa’s top attractions. Victoria Falls River Lodge lies on the banks of the beautiful Zambezi – home to hippos, elephants and crocodiles – and was the first lodge to be built in the Zambezi National Park. You can look forward to game drives in the park as well as boat cruises on the river for more game viewing.

Victoria Falls River Lodge has 13 luxurious tents. The spacious canvas tents are built on raised decks and are all air-conditioned. Each tent has a private viewing deck with a small plunge pool. The decks have fantastic views of the Zambezi River and surrounding bush. Each luxury tent has a large king size bed, a freestanding bath and an indoor and outdoor shower.
