Chobe Game Drives

Game drives in the Chobe National Park offers excellent game viewing opportunities. If you allow yourself adequate time here you will probably see nearly all the major species: giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog.

Chobe Game drives are done 4×4 Game drive vehicles and with a professional Safari Guide armed with a riffle. Complimentary drinks and snacks are included.

For the game drives guests are picked from their lodge in Chobe and transferred to Chobe National park for the game drives.

Chobe Sundowner Cruise

Make sure your itinerary includes a chobe sundowner cruise down the Chobe River and view the wildlife, including numerous bird species, as you drift slowly down a side channel, where the silence is only broken by bird calls. From the comfort of your boat view mighty elephant, giraffe, hippo and other wild animals returning to the Chobe River to quench their thirst.

The cruise include complimentary drinks, snacks and pick up from your lodge.

Chobe Tiger Fishing

A prime attraction to Chobe would be the coveted, majestic and powerful Tiger Fish (Hydrocynusvittatus) which is considered by many as the top freshwater game fish in the world. For a thrilling experience you can try your hand at fishing for this famed tiger fish, which inhabit the Chobe River. If you are looking to add another story to the list of “the one that got away” the Tiger Fish would have to be your number one choice. Tiger fishing trips include snacks, drinks and water.
